On the afternoon of July 22, 2016, the Municipal Fire Brigade came to Dongtai to guide the work and provided fire knowledge dissemination and fire drill training to all employees. Through publicity and drills, all employees have gained a deeper understanding of fire protection knowledge, gained a deeper understanding of the importance of fire protection, and become more proficient in using fire extinguishers, effectively improving their ability to respond to fire hazards.

At 3 pm, all employees gathered in the cafeteria hall to learn about firefighting knowledge together. The lecture given by Lecturer Wang from the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Fire Brigade was very professional. From theoretical knowledge to practical cases, he explained the importance of fire safety, how to escape in the event of a fire, and what precautions enterprises should pay attention to in fire management very clearly. The employees also listened attentively and benefited a lot.
After the lecture, all employees braved the hot weather and went to the main road of the old factory area for a fire drill. Lecturer Wang first demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers and emphasized several key points, including the way to hold the extinguisher, the steps to extinguish the fire, how to determine the wind direction, and how far away from the fire source, in a meticulous manner. Afterwards, employees took turns using fire extinguishers for fire drills, which not only familiarized them with the use of fire extinguishers but also enhanced their psychological quality. Especially some female employees, who almost never come into contact with fire extinguishers on weekdays, have developed a somewhat calm and leisurely demeanor after the exercise.
