On the afternoon of October 27, 2017, organized by the Qidong Federation of Trade Unions, a business training event on building harmonious labor relations and legal knowledge of wage payment was held in the training classroom of Shengshi Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. in Qidong Haigong Park.

For this training activity, relevant leaders of Dongtai Electric have given full attention and actively organized company employees to participate in the training and learning.

This training was led by Cai Yongsheng from the Qidong Labor Supervision Brigade and Sha Yanfei from the Qidong Workers' Rights Protection Consulting Volunteer Association. The main content of the training includes: laws and regulations related to salary payment, situations where labor remuneration is not paid in a timely manner, payment of overtime wages and illegal situations, legal procedures for delayed payment of labor remuneration, and cases of wage arrears. During the training, the lecturer provided in-depth interpretation of relevant regulations such as the "Interim Regulations on Wage Payment" and the "Regulations on Wage Payment in Jiangsu Province". During the explanation process, the lecturer also analyzed and demonstrated multiple real-life cases encountered, deepening the participants' understanding of practical issues.

In the training, specific analysis was conducted on specific issues, with a special emphasis on risk prevention issues in salary accounting and payment processes. For example, what items should be included in the composition of a payroll; What is the base for calculating overtime wages, how many multiples of wages should be corresponding to different types of holidays or rest time, and how to calculate piece rate wages; The proportion relationship between probationary salary and salary of formal employees of the same level; How to calculate the wages during the period of work stoppage with salary, sick leave, production stoppage, and resumption of labor relations; Jiangsu Province High Temperature Subsidy Standards and Implementation Methods; How to calculate the average salary; How to calculate maternity leave wages and nursing wages; What are part-time wages, interns' wages, social average wages, and average wages of on-the-job employees. In addition, detailed explanations were provided on how to calculate double wages, how to settle unused annual leave, how to calculate the wages of labor workers, how to calculate wages when it is uncertain, and related issues such as the minimum wage. Through practical cases in recent years, in-depth analysis was conducted to facilitate the understanding and mastery of trainees present at the training site.
